The Review:
Well now. The Zombie Handbook. (How many do we have now?) Honestly, in reviewing this book, I’ll use the Playboy line. “I only buy them for the articles!!!” of course, everyone knows that just isn’t true. While the writing in the book is witty and fun, it feels like almost every other book with the same or similar name. You get to hear about the eating habits, mating habits, digestion, social order… and just about everything else you can brush over in the subject of zombies.
Wait, did I just say mating habits? Oh yes, yes I did. I feel dirty having seen that section, by the way. And seeing is really the important part of this book. A comic visual experience that will have you breezing past the majority of the text to get to the “meat” on the next page. You will see zombies… in space suits! On a talk show! And of course, sitting on the couch, watching television, scratching his… Oh.
Great shelf book and conversation piece for the zombie aficionado and horror buff.
